Scharfes Eck in Grunstadt

wanted to eat some good food with my wife and we chose this place for a drink when we first ordered an ingredient not available so we chose another drink when eating Flammkuchen selected with sheep's cheese and pepperoni not available therefore Alsatian Flammkuchen with onions and was asked whether The onions can be removed is okay I ordered a rump steak medium in addition to the side salad The waitress said twice that the food was about to arrive but waited a long time when it finally came the side salad was missing what was complained of cut rump steak no medium waitress called my wife asked if the tarte flambée I bought it completely she answered why I said because of my rump steak I ordered medium I would also like to have medium please boss came over we talked through the matter he apologizes with two glasses of champagne meanwhile several times people arrived without a mask without disinfecting their hands and were defiant zdem led to one place my rump steak came II came the second time was a bit better but unfortunately not the right medium and the fries had been warmed up, the waitress was called and asked that either the medium or the fries would be correct and I would like to speak to the boss she came back and told me that the boss was out with the toddler, that's true, I asked my wife what the waitress said about her boss

Friendly service, large portions. But the negative side is very long waiting times for the food and quite high prices.

The restaurant belongs to the Pfalzhotel Asselheim. If you are a guest of the hotel, it is definitely worth booking a table in advance so that you can sit on the wonderful terrace. Fortunately, the menu is not too big, I don't like it when the quality suffers from the quantity of the dishes on offer. We ate here on both nights of our stay. It felt like the food tasted better on the second day, but that may be my own feeling! The good presentation of the dishes and the good service to the guests were consistently good. (I would have wished with just more wine knowledge ...) Overall, I was satisfied with all of the dishes!

Just arrived in Germany a few days ago to visit family. We felt like a nice dinner and decided to go to "Scharfes Eck"in Asselheim as we had fond memories of delicious escargot. We got there around 7.00pm. A nice young girl welcomed us and said she had to check with the lady in charge to see if we can have dinner a la carte. Another lady came out of a restaurant room that appeared to be empty. She said" we only have buffet- no dinner from the menu " in a rather rude tone. She said you have to call in advance and let us know you want to eat here. I apologized for the inconvenience and told her we just arrived in Germany and restaurants usually serve first come first serve.It appears this restaurant turned from an upscale place years ago into a low budget establishment. Well we found another place in Kallstadt that provided everything we were looking for and were able to spend a decent amount there for exquisite meals. Your loss "Scharfes Eck"!!!

The food is good. The choice of drinks was okay. What bothered me a bit was the long way from the buffet to the table, sometimes the dishes weren't really warm until you were at the table.

Went there for a Sunday brunch and goose dinner in the run up to Christmas. The food tastes delicious and the ambience is also nice. Regarding the goose, the restaurant also offers to prepare everything (including dumplings, sauces, etc.) and to prepare everything for a meal at home. Super Service.

We were there after a civil wedding, everything was great.

Recommended seminar hotel ... ?? This can be done better. The loudspeaker system falls into standby every 15 minutes and none of the hotel employees can handle it. Absolutely annoying.

The food is amazing and the atmosphere is perfect.
